Formed in 1992, GEHENNAH burst onto the scene in the mid-90s with three albums: Hardrocker, King of the Sidewalk, and Decibel Rebel. At a time when melodic death and atmospheric black metal dominated, GEHENNAH brought thrash black 'n' roll inspired by Venom, Bathory, and Motörhead, building a loyal underground following. Their fourth album, Too Loud to Live, Too Drunk to Die, delivers 13 tracks of raw street-metal crafted to thrill diehard fans and irritate those who prefer clean, polished sounds. Recorded at Studio Cobra in Stockholm with Martin Eherencrona in summer 2015, this record carries on GEHENNAH’s tradition of gritty, streetwise metal, with lyrics covering drinking, crime, and decadence. This re-issue is limited to 298 heavyweight black 12" vinyls (180g), with a gatefold cover and full-color 350g printing, packaged in a plastic overbag for collectors.
