Welcome to the surreal world of SPEkTR, the instrumental electro-cinematic rock band founded in 2000 by Manoj Ramdas and later joined by Lasse Herbst and Kåre Joensen. For years, SPEkTR has crafted immersive soundtracks for movies that don’t exist - music meant to be experienced with closed eyes, as visions unfold behind them.
Today, on Halloween 2025, the band unveils their most daring creation yet: a catchy and dreamlike yet nightmarish new album steeped in the eerie atmosphere of vintage Italian giallo cinema. For the first time ever, SPEkTR breaks their instrumental tradition, introducing haunting vocals and dark narration by Ustumallagam of Denial Of God, adding a sinister new dimension to their cinematic universe.
Fans of Goblin, Ennio Morricone, Piero Umiliani, and Simon Boswell will find themselves right at home in this feverish sonic dream where beauty, dread, and delirium intertwine.
