But don't come looking for a Dissection clone as "Black Blood" is something far more unhinged and way more interesting. This is black metal from a time when it was still dangerous, soaked in menace and madness, with hate practically dripping from every riff, scream, and drum hit. Rooted in traditional black metal riffcraft, but twisted with the dark soul of oldschool heavy metal - think Gorgoroth jamming Mercyful Fate in a padded cell.
